Fincantieri brings in a banker as GM

Reporting a loss of EUR 137 million (about $162 million) for the first half year, Italian shipbuilding giant Fincantieri has appointed a banker, Fabio Gallia, as its new general manager. Until 2018, he was CEO and general manager of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), a state controlled investment institution that is Fincantieri’s largest shareholder. Full Article
