The Assembly of the International Maritime Organization has elected the following States to be Members of its Council for the 2020-2021 biennium:

November 29, 2019 – The World Council of the International Melges 24 Class Association (IM24CA) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Bergen, Norway on November 9th. While no remarkable amendments to the class rules or documents were made, a few members of the Executive Committee concluded their terms and new officers were elected and appointed to serve the Melges 24 class.

The 2019 OMAN by UTMB® has officially begun, with almost 2,000 people from 69 countries to compete in a range of events in the Al Hajar Mountain range from 28-30 November. Hundreds of runners from all over the world have begun one of the biggest endurance tests around, the 2019 OMAN by UTMB®. |

Welcome to the November PEMSEA e-update. This month saw the initiation of Phase 2 of the Arafura and Timor Seas project, which will work to improve the sustainability of these two seas. PEMSEA has also seen continued cooperation with its long-term partners in Xiamen, with the Xiamen Municipal Government being awarded a leadership award for its work in the PNLG and for ICM, and with Xiamen University collaborating with PEMSEA to hold a 7-day study tour for sustainable coastal development for PNLG and PNLC members.
