Poole Museum Foundation, the charity dedicated to supporting and developing Poole Museum, has announced its line-up of events taking place this summer.
On Thursday 23 May, staff at Poole Museum will be inviting friends, family and the local community to join members of the foundation for an evening garden party at Scaplen’s Court Garden.
Between 6pm and 7.30pm, guests will be invited to enjoy delicious cocktails, light snacks, plus exclusive access to the historic and beautiful gardens. The event will be sponsored by Dorset Tea and Dorset’s first gin distillery, Conker Spirit.
On Friday 7 June, the museum will be hosting its annual fundraising event at The Sandbanks Hotel, Poole. The exclusive dinner will coincide with the highly anticipated exhibition, Henry Lamb: Out of the Shadows, which will open to the public at Poole Museum on Saturday 18 May. With limited tickets available, guests will enjoy welcome drinks, a three-course meal, a digital taste of the exhibition, raffle and a special guest talk from Primrose Campbell, granddaughter of Henry Lamb.
The Poole Museum Foundation, which launched in 2017 and now has around 70 members, will be hosting a private garden party for its members at Scaplen’s Court Garden on Monday 15 July. The member-only event will include a live string quartet, freshly brewed tea sponsored by Dorset Tea and delicious cakes. Members will have the opportunity to tour the Henry Lamb exhibition, along with his granddaughter, Primrose Campbell.
