Created by renowned dance company Yskynna, performances are free with your museum ticket, and run three times a day, Monday-Friday.

BLACK BRITAIN ON FILM | 17 OCTOBER 2018

Explore the history of the UK through the eyes and voices of black Britons throughout the 20th century. Bringing together films spanning 1901 to 1985 and taken from many different regions of the UK, see incredibly rare, little-seen and valuable depictions of black British life on screen.

MODEL ENGINEERING SHOWCASE:

17 + 18 NOVEMBER 2018

See the full spectrum of model engineering, from steam locomotives and model boat building through to aeroplanes and helicopters. Around 200 models will be on display and a range of modelling activities on offer including plastic kit ‘make and take’ sessions and the popular museum ‘scrapheap challenge’.
