March 29, 2016—Crowley Maritime Corporation has marked another critical milestone in the construction of its two LNG fueled ConRO ships with the setting of the MAN Diesel & Turbo 8S70ME-C8.2-GI main engine onto El Coquí, the first of the new Commitment Class vessels under construction at VT Halter Marine.

Bourbon to acquire Jaccar ethane activities
In a statement issued today, Bourbon said that the “direction taken by its customers towards the energy transition that is underway” is driving it to seek diversification of its activities “to support these new directions and open real growth prospects.”

Conrad reports increased backlog, lower earnings
