Have a Nordic Noël at the Maritime Museum

Have a Nordic Noël
Join us for our first ever Viking Winterfest on 12-13 Dec where you can meet ‘real live’ Vikings and discover how they celebrated the winter solstice; thrill to Winter Sagas and tales of tomfoolery, frost giants and foul play; and meet Old Man Winter, the Norse version of Father Christmas, who’ll be handing out traditional Scandinavian treats for all the girls and boys.

Throughout the Christmas school holidays from 19 Dec-3 Jan, the Nordic Noël continues with creative crafts inspired by festive customs from Nordic nations.
