McDermott and Petrofacs in SURF marketing alliance
February 26, 2015—McDermott International, Inc. and London-based international oilfield services provider Petrofac Limited have formed a strategic marketing alliance to pursue top-tier deepwater subsea, umbilical, riser and flowline (“SURF”) projects. The five-year alliance expects to provide oil and gas companies a competitive, integrated solution across a broad range of complex engineering, procurement, construction, installation (“EPCI”) subsea projects in deep and ultra-deepwater across the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Mexico, Brazil, the North Sea, Mediterranean and West Africa.
HOS sells four OSVs to MSC
HOS reports that it recently agreed to sell four of its 250EDF class OSVs currently chartered to the U.S. Navy and to subsequently operate them for the Navy under an operations and maintenance (“O&M”) contract for up to 10-years operating period.
