July 30, 2013—Harvey Gulf International Marine, LLC said that its flagship multipurpose construction vessel Harvey Deep-Sea has, with the assistance of Bisso Marine, completed installation of its NOV 165 ton heave compensated knuckle boom crane at Associated Terminals in Port of St. Bernard, LA. The vessel is currently undergoing mobilization at Bollinger Shipyards in Port Fourchon, LA, in support of its four year charter to DOF Subsea.
Crack down will focus on ships’ machinery
Port State Control Officers will use a list of 12 selected items to verify critical areas for the propulsion and auxiliary machinery installations, some of which are related to documentation, main and auxiliary equipment, crew familiarization and operational controls.
